We need water, and it’s good to have some on hand. It doesn’t all have to be drinkable to be useful. Even the slimiest rain barrel water can be used to flush your toilet at least.

Still, having a supply of water on hand to last for a while can be important–if not critical. Especially for people like me who live in a desert.
